Saw an interesting rant on the bougieman's blog tonite, about how people ignore cool movies and other such neateries in favour of mass-absorbing the latest big trend, be it LOST, TWILIGHT, HARRY POTTER or what have you, no matter whether they enjoy said things or not. Woohoo! Eleventh Doctor action figures! Yojimbo and Sanjuro deluxe editions for half-price! And fun comix! And now pizza and wings are on the way, I'm calling this a good day. My internet is even up and running and faster than a long, long time...I can watch youtube again! -

Oh, brother. I found out last-minute that Doug Stanhope was performing in town, and made it out to the show. Pretty easily my fav'rit stand up comedian working today:
