I was thinking about copyright, and how every time it's mentioned on the usual sites there's a score of people who have their own ideas on how to reform it. X years for this, Y years for that, payment-based, time-based, something-else-based.

Vorns and breems are two fictional units of time used in Transformers media, or were back in the 80s. They were originally just made up pretty much on the spot by the writers, with a vorn being around 83 years long and a breem about 8.3 minutes.

I've found, as I get older, that TV is something which happens to other people.

It's strange, considering that as a kid I regularly watched all manner of TV and had dozens of favourite programmes.

Are the current offerings just that much worse? Or is it me who's changed?

Now that there's technology to scan people's dimensions automatically, and computer effects can project simulations of what a given item of clothing would look like on someone, wouldn't it be fascinating to throw an autotailor into the mix - a machine which could, at the very least, make a variety of minor adjustments to a standard clothing item in ( Read more... )

- women's clothing with more pockets
- clothing price parity for men's and women's stuff
- plushie Hasbro characters
