I simply don't understand cosplay.  There's Halloween and then there's looking like a dick for public consumption.

Aaaaand this year I spent it...bowling!  It was a bit unexpected, but my friend the coupon freak called me up at  3 pm, from work and was like "It's the end of the month!  My 2-for-1 coupons expire today!"  Because you know, otherwise, bowling is a whole $2.50 a game, and the coupons are such a huuuge savings, so they had to be used.

It seems like nowadays, everybody has some issue or another.  I went to lunch with a group of people and listened to one person relate how everyone in her family had been molested--from siblings to cousins, and generationally from parents to grandparents (the grandfather was the instigator), the storyteller's conclusion was that "everybody has ( Read more... )
