Today has been a busy day. In one week I'll be on a plane for Atlanta and I've still got a lot to do before I'm ready to go. But I'm getting shit done. My paper is finished, and I've shifted my focus to the Powerpoint presentation.

I think of veganism as class-based, but not because I assume highly processed specialty foods are a part of it; I believe it's because fruits and vegetables make up a large part of the diet, and those are *more* expensive than highly processed foods, and less accessible, in many areas. Obviously this would differ from area to area, but around my neighborhood, even when the farmer's market is in season, it's cheaper to make a meal of carbs (rice/pasta/potatoes) and (cheap varieties of) meat than it is to have a meal comprised primarily of fresh veggies.
Are copies of this going to be distributed? If so, there's a few typos I noticed and can point out if you want.
