In the Great White North
I've been in the Yukon for a week now (as of this afternoon) it is super awesome and laid back and I can kinda see why everyone who comes here seems to move up. The mountains are breathtaking. So......
I'm going to the Yukon for 5 weeks. I'll be running an after school program there for 6-10 year olds, and hopefully crossing off some of the things on my 50 Things to do list in my free time. If all goes well I should make enough to pay for my flights and still bring back some money to help us while Justin looks for work. I'll be home in time for ( Read more... ) -
Life has gone a little pear shaped
A month ago I had to call Justin home from his placement because I had three daycare kids plus Gabe, and all of a sudden I realized that something was really wrong with me. Unloading the dishwasher I probably dropped half of the things I tried to put away (plastic, luckily), I kept knocking things over, walking into door jams, and falling over. ( Read more... ) -

This week has been hellish. I'm getting over a cold, Justin and the kids have had a stomach bug. Luckily they are mostly better now, except that Gabe has had diarrhea today. :(

I've just come off of a 56.5 hour work week. Got my cheque for the last two weeks, and can now breathe easy - my August mortgage payment is taken care of. I got a promotion to supervisor and a raise after a week ( Read more... ) -
It looks like the tides are turning.
Oh My God. So..... I got a JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tomorrow we are leaving for Neil and Aggie's cottage, and we're going to be coming back a little earlier than planned on Monday.
Because I am starting my new job at 8am Tuesday Morning!!!
