In the Great White North

I've been in the Yukon for a week now (as of this afternoon) it is super awesome and laid back and I can kinda see why everyone who comes here seems to move up. The mountains are breathtaking. I love the small town feel. It's what I assume life could have been like when my parents were young. Everyone is so friendly and there is a sense of community that I haven't quite found anywhere else.
The job is easy and fun, again everyone works together and there is almost a feeling of a misfit family - which is my kind of family. :)
I miss my kids and Justin so much. I don't miss the kids all the time like I thought I would, most of the time I keep pretty busy, but the other day I was walking down by the river and I saw some daycare workers pushing about a dozen kids in those long strollers. A few of the kids were crying, and one of them was around Gabe's age and was crying out "Mom-me" in hitching sobs. It was all I could do not to break down, the ache to hold my children was so bad.

Now my jerk boss is cracking the whip, so I've got to start working. ;)
