A month ago I had to call Justin home from his placement because I had three daycare kids plus Gabe, and all of a sudden I realized that something was really wrong with me. Unloading the dishwasher I probably dropped half of the things I tried to put away (plastic, luckily), I kept knocking things over, walking into door jams, and falling over. ( Read more... )

I've seen a couple updates on your FB and knew something wasn't right so I'm glad you let everyone know. My prayers are all for you.

I don't really know what to say to such news, other than I hope you at least get answers soon. I'll be thinking of you!

It sucks that you have to wait till June, but it's better than next year! How can they justify not telling people about a cancellation right away!

Not everyone is in a situation where they cannot wait, I suppose? For instance, if I already knew what my diagnosis was, and I were simply transferring from one Neurologist to another, it wouldn't be as essential that I get an appointment ASAP.

*hugs* I hope you can get some answers soon, that is such a scary place to be. I understand the having to grow up a lot faster, my mom had severe migraines for years when I was young and I had to take care of a lot of the household stuff from a very early age. Not as bad as MS, but still most days she was in so much pain she could only lay in her bedroom with the lights off.

I think it's a great opportunity for teaching such a great lesson to your kids, just because you get a bad diagnoses doesn't mean you just give up. There are options and new developments in treatments all the time. *hugs*

Yeah, it's not easy having to be the caretaker when you're just a kid. We do learn a lot of skills that others don't though! :)
