Intro Post - No Event {Mild Aphro}

As the girl slipped slowly back to consciousness, something was off. It took a moment for her to fully register what exactly seemed out of place, but it soon became obvious when she tried to shift her weight in order to roll over, the many layers of the long skirt of her gown limiting her movement.

Her gown? Why was she still in her clothes if she ( Read more... )

The familiar presence from within the hotel was plain as day to Lina, tingling on the edge of her senses. Looking up from her book, she vanished in a soft pop and reappeared in front of the door Amelia was planning on marching on through.

Reaching for the doorknob, Lina braced herself as she put on a catty grin.

As the princess barreled out of the hotel room, collision was imminent. Of course Amelia was the obvious klutz, and was the one that ended up in a mess of pink frills and silk on the floor. Casting her eyes upwards, she found herself gawking at a very familiar figure.

"M-Miss Lina!" she exclaimed, her surprise quickly wearing off and being replaced with relief as she struggled to pull herself up. "Oh thank goodness, I'm not here by myself. Do you have any idea what's going on here?" she asked.

Reaching down to help Amelia up, Lina chuckled. "Yeah but you're probably not going to like it Amelia. The short and long of it is that we're trapped in another dimension, a love hotel. And pretty much the long-term effect of staying here is a doozy."

She could have SOME sympathy for her, considering she hadn't seen Amelia in ages.

"A hotel?" she questioned as she was helped to her feet. The implications were going to sink in rather slowely, and with her mind still rather hazy, her initial panic was delayed. "And we can't get out?"

Brushing herself down and trying not to topple over due to the drugs in her system, she tilted her head in a curious manner. "Couldn't you use a spell to try and escape Miss Lina?"

"If I could I would have. But the walls are impervious to damage magic and I even used the Ragna Blade on it. Nothing. I can teleport around but that's the extent of the transport magic that I could use."

Feh, to think she of all people would be stuck in there. SHE was probably killing herself laughing at least.

"It's really that powerful a place?" the princess asked, staring back with wide eyes. This was serious. "Who could be in charge of such a horrible place?"

Oh dear, it seemed like Amelia was gearing up into her hero of justice mode.

Quick stop her before she tries breaking down walls!

"I'm not entirely sure," replied Lina, shaking her head and letting those golden locks fall over her shoulder. "I've tried finding out but there's no office or management or anything. There's staff yes, but they're rarely found unless you're ordering something. And then they're unflappable. Believe me I tried interrogating one. He just handed me fresh towels and left."

She was actually impressed by that. Most people knew better than to be so calm when it came to Lina Inverse, her repuatation was renowned. Perhaps more surprising though was there was no mention of the poor man being incincerated with a Dragon Slave.

"So, what you're saying is...we're stuck." the princess deadpanned.

If she was 400 years younger, then probably a room would have died to an inglorious Dragon Slave. But after so long, a TINY little bit of a temperament showed its ugly head when Lina was feeling violent.

"Yeah pretty much. Unless you get sent back there really isn't a way out of here. Seems to be a lot of world-traps lately. Kinda pisses me off."

Groaning, Amelia facepalmed. If Lina wasn't able to do something about this, they really were in trouble.

"So we just sit around and do nothing? We're dropped in here without any warning and now we just have to wait and hope we'll get out? That's so frustrating." she grumbled, missing any sort of implication her words would bring. For all she had matured, the princess was still fairly clueless when it came to such matters. She was far too busy being peeved over any lack of action she could take. Being idle never say well for Amelia.

"Oh that's not the worst of it," growled Lina, thumping the wall a little with a fist.

"Think of the name of the place. LOVE hotel. We're not talking bout fancy Prince-On-A-" Lina abruptly terminated that analogy. "Whirlwind romance kind of love, but downright raunchy stuff. This place? Full of aphrodisiac. I've been diverting the air a little but sooner or later it's going to get thicker in here than the pudding we call Gourry's brain."

Gourry. she missed him constantly, physically at least. Every time she got a lock on his "aura" she always teleported into somewhere stupid.

Amelia's eyes grew wider and wider as listened, until her stare appeared to be burning a hole into whatever she looked at. Her stomach clenched as she remembered the smell in the room behind them, paling.

"W-Wait, so that's why..." she stammered, hands covering her nose in mouth as a fiery blush spread over her features to make up for her previous lack of colour. She wanted to scream or run or just do something, but couldn't. Her legs were having a hard enough time keeping her upright, nevermind letting her flee. As for her voice, she had been fortunate to force out any words at all, swallowing heavy to try and dispose of the lump in her throat.

"Whoa whoa, calm down Amelia, just don't breathe too deeply in," said Lina, leaning in and checking to see if she wasn't being affected too badly. Nothing more awkward than best female friend on best female friend and all. "Just sit down, minimize your freaking out. You're just going to breathe in more of it."

A side one wouldn't see normally on Lina, but at least she was able to be mellow long enough to calm panicked friends.

The girl squeaked, nodding frantically in understanding as she tried her best to relax. She allowed herself some balance against the doorframe so as not to stumble over her skirts. Her head was swimming and foggy, but for the moment she did her best to focus on Lina, if only to prevent herself becoming lost in the weird haze the aroma seemed to create.

"I'm sorry Miss Lina." she managed to say. "I just don't understand any of this."

"Here, sit down before your hurt yourself." said Lina with a sigh.

NOW she was worried. Did Amelia know of The Talk? Did she know ANY of that? She knew she looked at Zel with hearts in her eyes at times but hmm...

"How much do you know? Bout sex I mean." said Lina, managing to say sex without going red herself. "I mean, it's gotta be a part of that royal education of yours, right?"

Somehow the princess managed to perch herself on a chair without having her skirts sticking in the air, but was still flattening them out as she heard the question.

Oh dear, that brought up a few unwanted memories. She visibly cringed on remembering her sister trying to tell her all about the birds and the bees. Of course this was when they were both far too young to hear it. The whole thing had went over Amelia's head, mostly because Gracia had gotten her information out of a textbook she stole from the restricted section of the library. Needless to say, Prince Phil was not pleased about the whole thing. When it finally sunk in when she was old enough to get an official talk, the whole concept seemed very frightening to her.

"I guess I know, well, what I'm supposed to. I just...well it seems really weird. I just don't know how it would really work."
