While I was at boot camp, I missed Christmas, New Year's eve, New Year's Day, one of my best friends died of an annerism (sp?), I missed Valentine's day, I missed Easter Sunday, and another friend shot themself in the chest. Here I am, a United States Marine, a title that not many people hold. Graduated the 21st, and here I am, pulling yet another all nighter. Just can't sleep, even though I made it through, I still think about how hard I fought to make it.
