Has anyone had any success with following up to positions you've applied for? Most of the jobs I applied at said "No phone calls please" but I was curious if following up with an e-mail to HR weeks after you've applied (and hadn't heard anything) would be helpful or just a waste of time. In regards to retail jobs, is it better to apply in-store at the kiosks, or online? I've always assumed it didn't matter because the computers at the kiosk and the online applications are the same and seem to be filed into the same "system" (if you will), however, I'm always being nagged by people saying it's better to apply at the kiosk (though I' ( Read more... )

How long did it take for them to get back to you to say you passed/failed the screening?
