Applying online or at kiosks?

In regards to retail jobs, is it better to apply in-store at the kiosks, or online? I've always assumed it didn't matter because the computers at the kiosk and the online applications are the same and seem to be filed into the same "system" (if you will), however, I'm always being nagged by people saying it's better to apply at the kiosk (though I' ( Read more... )

The manager at Macy's told me it was better to apply at the kiosks in store because HR reviews those first.

I've never heard back from the kiosk and but even if it is a rejection it has only been if I applied online. I also do not trust putting my information in where there are a million people wandering around behind my back.
