An entry almost too boring to write (phones)
I'm considering changing cell phone providers. Verizon is reliable, but it's not cheap. We pay around $70/month for two lines with no web/data, and only Gretchen has texting because she uses it and I hate it. I would like mobile web though, and I would like something cheaper. I'm on such a self-induced nerd high right now. I just made a fantasy basketball league with a bunch of friends from the internet. I made the scoring system and then created this awesome balanced schedule (10 teams, two divisions of 5 each, 3 games against each team in your division and two against teams in the other). Van
We bought a van a couple of weeks ago. Gretchen had been wanting one for a while, so we went to a parking lot sale at the mall. Buying a gadget doohickey for the church projector
I want to share this, for no other reason than that it's so tech-geeky. The bulb in our projector at the church is dying. Thankfully one gentleman in the church offered to donate his projector, at least until we can get a replacement bulb. Decision on the A.S. treatments
It's come to a point where I need to make a decision about how I want to go about my treatment for my back condition. It's an arthritic condition where the bones in my spine fuse, and it's going to continue to get worse over time. More trouble with the Neon
I think it's time to say goodbye to my car. This is the Neon that we've only had for a few years, but it's having significant transmission trouble for the third time now. Here's something I noticed while driving around Boise in the heat the other day. On one street corner was a guy holding a sign that said "HOMELESS, CAN'T FIND A JOB ANYWHERE, PLEASE HELP."
