Spring is on its way, dear citizens, and that means we must all take a break and remember to booze up. For the month of March, while the city's climate will stay that of Auckland, the atmosphere will be a little different. Instead of green decomposing corpses there will be green shamrock decorations, top hats, and beverages with varying alcohol contents. Some Extras will even be speaking in an overexaggerated Irish accent, and if you see a rainbow there will actually be gold at the end of it.
Double rainbows get twice the gold, but unfortunately there will be no leprechauns.

→ Go ahead and make a phone post, too, if you so desire!

Considering the great and noble history of St. Patrick's day and the various traumas inflicted on people throughout the month of February, all booze is free! Along with any traditional Irish fare, hot wings, and and any item you can imagine with a rainbow on it.

Considering all the excitement lately, the aliens are letting March be simple and regrettable in other more mundane ways. That doesn't mean they won't miss the opportunity to implement a new program, though!
Starting this month, in an effort to properly entertain the citizens, the aliens will begin adding radio stations to the current Taxon entertainment package that currently consists of lots of old game shows and Oprah. Nowhere in the city will anyone be able to find where the broadcasts are coming from, though if you would like your character to have a job as a DJ or talk radio host just let us know on the [jobs page] and we'll work something out for you.
Oh, and by the way: all the music will be old soundtracks and scores. Vague senses of familiarity or déjà vu are totally encouraged.
