After ten years of doing Other Things, two days ago I auditioned for a musical production. Lyric Theatre is producing Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore to perform in October. Like Northanger Abbey, Ruddigore satirizes the gothic novels Mrs. Radcliffe and similar, depicting cruel noblemen, innocent maidens, and a stately home full of ghosts. I ( Read more... )
