Likewise it has intellectually gone from Bill Buckley to Rush Limbaugh.
In its bid to hold onto failed economic policies it has moved from the party of attracting voters with common sense, intelligence and caution to the party of attracting right-wing radical ideologues, religious idiots, conspiracy theorists and tea-party morons to the point where even Reagan could not be nominated today.

I love conceited libertarians like the one in the article. They can stay home for all I care, the 'both parties are the same!' rhetoric has been thoroughly debunked. People need to realize what's at stake here and as Samuel L. Jackson would say, wake the fuck up.
