Foxes barking in the back yard again tonight.  Way too dark and too late to see them, but with no music on and no fans running, I could hear them clearly.  Always a great sound to me, that rasping noise that sounds like a dog with a sore throat.

Went to the Borders, wrote about 2000 words tonight on "Ambergrin."  Still not done, but thankfully ( Read more... )

Lately around here it has been frogs and raccoons at night.

I miss seeing bald eagles. They're out here, I'm just out where they are to see them.

We get the spring peepers, too, but I'm not near any wetland / marshy area to hear them on a nightly basis. There's something soothing about that sound.

Thank you my friend. Tonight I am again feeling unmotivated, but I want to at least finish chapter 13. I thought that 13 would be it (plus epilogue), but I think the action will need a chapter break. So it looks like 14 will be it.
