08:14 Foggy and frosty outside this morning. 28 degrees, which I hope means the fog won't be freezing to my windshield all the way to work.

19:50 I need a new candy thermometer. Mine said that the fudge base (which had only just that moment come to a full roiling boil) was 400 degrees.
