( A; Early in the morning, probably far earlier that you want to be woken up, Korea is making an open phone call. You could possibly try to ignore him, but he’s pretty persistent and doesn’t seem to mind that he may be waking people up. )Hey! Hey-does anybody know what a ‘homeowner’s association’ is? I got a letter about it, in the mail! Which is ( Read more... )

[ Look, down below. It's Tinywan, who isn't really used to tranquil nights in dull suburban areas... so she's wandering around town, hoping she gets sleepy after her walk. ]

Ei!

What do you think you're doing? You know what that's called? Do you know what that's called?

Whoa!

[ She tried to run away and not catch you, you know. Because... because why would she catch you...

In any case, he falls on her and her face is flat on the ground. ]

Aaaaaah, Korea! You're too heavy! You're too heavy 'cause you eat so much barbecue! You're too heavy 'cause you eat so much barbecue and don't give me any!

Dong-saeng shouldn't have startled me!

( but he rolls off her in any case. )

You don't deserve barbecue if you go around knocking people out of trees!

[Someone else is out late at night.

Apart from watching the streets, is Korea paying attention to the roofs, wire poles, lampposts, and other taller places? Because there would be a blur of midnight blue moving on top of those that almost blends in with the night sky - but not quite.]

( His surveillance is supposed to include all of the above mentioned, but since he's a bit of a derp his perception levels wax and wane. In this particular instance, he sees the flash of blue out of the corner of his eye and then whips around to get a closer look--about three seconds too slow. The movement, however, would have made a lot of noise. )

[That gets her attention. This is just a general patrol to make sure things are good and quiet in the neighborhood at night, and people hanging in trees would still fall under that.

No but seriously why is he hanging in a tree... Going to hide behind the roof of a nearby house and watch him for a bit. This person doesn't look like they're up to something, but might as well. At any rate, the night goes quiet again.]

( He's attempting to be at least a little bit subtle, but every so often he gets bored and starts singing--Korean folk songs, and then his volume goes up and up a bit. )

( He, being the derp ninja he is, doesn't notice her at all. He is still hanging upside down, and his arms flail slightly as he writes out all his rapid notes. He's also humming to himself. Loudly. )

[Still watching! ...Through the scope of a rifle. It's all good, okay, she's not actually planning to shoot. The scope is focused on the notepad, actually- she's trying to discern what it says.]

[ WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT, JAPAN INVENTED NINJA... what's he doing up late at night and outside, though, is another question. He can't see you directly yet however. ]

... Hm. Strange... why is it that I receive this feeling... as though there is someone in that tree...

Eh? What is this? Why am I suddenly hearing Korea-san's voice, almost as though he is in that tree and speaking to me for some reason?

Because I'm magic! And I can talk to you even if I'm not there! That's how cool I am!
