The Office as a Second Vanity Closet....

Since I seem to strain so many brain cells in the morning trying to figure out which necktie to wear with my outfit before I bike to work, I decided to make life easier on myself. I brought two dozen ties into work (in a carrying bag), and stashed them in my cubicle area. Since I already store my work shoes at work, I can get dressed here at work

back in my DC office (dammit *drinks*)
they kept my office for me
the drawers have things like
hair spray
travel size bathroom items
extra phone charger

basically my file cabinets there have stuff I may forget to pack when I go back to the office =)
I still have a nice microwavable bowl in my drawers too for my morning oatmeal

Good, good idea. I never tie my tie at home on days I need to wear a suit - I'm too clumsy that early in the morning.

Better off to wait until I've had a coffee and some Dr Pepper, *then* tie the tie when I'm awake.

"weekday hair products" and "weekend hair products". Are you kidding me with this?

I kid not. The weekend products tend to be of the nicer-smelling pomade kind, whereas I stick to the bike-helmet-friendly gels during the working weekdays. :)
