Since it was cold and dry earlier this morning, I decided to change my cycling attire for the occasion. I noticed that my commute time was shaved about a minute. I also noticed that people would stare and cross the road (away) from me. I suppose that wearing my bicycling tights would have that sort of an effect. Since I seem to strain so many brain cells in the morning trying to figure out which necktie to wear with my outfit before I bike to work, I decided to make life easier on myself. I did it. I actually managed to wake up early this morning and worked out at march wellness before work. I hope that this isn't a one-time thing--I want to get into a regular habit of working out every other day. Now that my plans for working out at march wellness have been foiled by the excrement weather, I think I'll use the opportunity to spend the evening cleaning up around the apartment, and going grocery shopping later in the evening. I swear, I shall not allow five months to elapse between haircuts ever again. Over the last few months, my hair has been out of control. On good days, my hair would resemble the quasi-mulleted characters from Japanese anime, but on other days, my hair would resemble that of a quasi-mulleted relief pitcher from a Japanese Baseball League team.
