Broken Tooth & Writing again
Broke my tooth on Thursday. The front, left lobe is totally gone. Apparently, when you have larger, metal fillings, the metal will eventually pull away from the tooth. If it's a big enough filling, the tooth can and will break because it's so thin. I could have gone my whole life without learning this little kernel. Especially since most of my ( Read more... ) -

Well, that didn't work...
Decided to try Maggie Moo on a full 5k walk/jog. I was 2 miles in when she decided that she was tired so I had to pick her up and carry her for the last mile and some change. Let me tell you, carrying an 11lb dog while walking when you're not used to it will raise your heart rate to the same zone as jogging AND you get a great arm workout. XD ( Read more... ) -

I haven't really been on LJ or the internet at all really in the last 2 months. In that time, we've adopted a new dog, and I've been trying (and somewhat failing) to find a happier balance. Good news/Bad News
Remember when I mentioned that our AC blew up because of a power surge? Well, the check for nearly $1,500 came in the mail without any problems which I was, frankly, shocked about because it wasn't a little amount. Well FU, too, Power Company!
25 hours ago, the family was sitting watching a movie on netflix when there was a loud 'BAM!' like a really big car door being slammed hard followed by a flash or brilliant white then white/blue.
And then the power went out to half the house.
