Anyone tried
Walmart Saving's Catcher yet?
The way it works is that you create or log into your Walmart.com account, enter the transaction code and the date on the receipt (it's at the very bottom where that long bar code is), and then go about your week.
The company will verify your receipt and then check it against all the competitor ads in your area. If they find a lower price, they'll credit it to your account. You can "cash out" the credit at any time to an e-card that you can use on their website to buy anything you want/need. It's a win/win - you get money back and they get you to buy more stuff. LOL.
I've been using it for three weeks. In that time, it's managed to catch nearly $11. And please keep in mind that I'm one of those people that price matches ads.
Logging in and registering those receipts take me less than 30 seconds. So for about a minute and a half of my life, Walmart's given me $11.
And I'm not the only one that's done it. My friend Mike, who can't be bothered with "all that coupon crap" has been trying it with me for the last 3 weeks, too. At first, he grumbled about the hassle. And then he logged in the next week...and then the next. He's gotten back nearly $180 which I find both awesome and fairly horrifying. He already cashed in the money towards a fishing pole his wife swore he couldn't get "unless you find the money for it somewhere." Now she's the one grumbling. LOL! Poor Peggy.
Apologies if this sounds like a bit of a commercial. I'm not affiliated with Walmart at all. I'm not getting any money for pimping it. I just thought y'all ought to know there's "free" money out there that's easy to get provided you shop at Walmart. :)
