I'm still here! As it turns out, being a psuedo single mom while your part-time job becomes more like a full-time job all the while studying for the BigDamnTest takes up a lot of your internet browsing time. Lily and I went for a run today! I now have a jogging stroller, so I can run with Lily in tow. Or in push. Whatever. In any case, much fun was had by all. I'm off today, and I'm unpacked, so of course it was raining for most of the day. When the rain finally stopped, it was 91 degrees and humid, but I ran anyways. And it was hot. Nashville!
I have moved! Lily, Mike and I are now happily housed in Nashville. I so love our little house. We actually have a little less floor space than what we had in Norfolk, and we've gone from 1 ginormous bedroom and 1 large-ish bedroom to 3 small bedrooms, but we're making it work. The movers showed up on Saturday, we expected them on Monday. We weren't ready, oh well. Our stuff is now packed and on a truck to TN, at least, I hope it is. We're now staying with friends for a week, and holy crap graduation is on Saturday! Then Mike leaves on 6/20. I leave on 6/23. Good times! I have to do a small (and stupid) ( Read more... ) -
