The week in review:- Saturday I did a little bit of household maintenance and blogging and processing of photos. Talked to my friend Sarah on the phone for a while. Meghan and Adam came over to visit briefly and give me a cool signed Indigo Girls CD in a frame. Finished the blogging after they left.

The week in review:- Saturday was my big Halloween party! I went out before it got too hot and swept my porch down for outdoor loiterers . . . and found a wasp nest had taken up residence under the table. Got rid of it and that was no fun. We waited for news of power or my friends being able to go back to their neighborhood but it did not happen. Spent the day doing more photo processing and took some walks with Jeaux. The week in review:- Saturday Jeaux and I woke up in our New York hotel room and had our breakfast out on the terrace. We wandered around at bookstores and I happened to check the weather page on my phone and we found out that there was a storm approaching Florida, forecast to be a Category 2 hurricane named Milton.
