So, baby Madi is doing great! All of her tubes and things are out - she's gaining weight, and she's breast feeding. She should be able to go home by Friday!!! I'm so happy!! She's a fighter!

I go home Oct.3 for Mom's wedding. ugh.

Kristie had her baby around 4:00 this morning - she wasn't due for 6 more weeks. Baby Madi weighed 4 pounds 2 ounces at birth. Her lungs aren't fully developed - they had to intubate her. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers ( Read more... )

Baton Rouge survived Gustav, but we got hit pretty hard. Campus was closed last week, so no work. A tree fell on the building I work in, and instead of knocking it down like they should, they're moving us out to repair it. Ugh. At least I get to go back to work tomorrow.
