Summary:
Heechul finds himself deeply in love with his fellow super junior member Hangeng. Could this love be a blessing or is it a curse threatening to change everything he knows.

Heechuls worst nightmare had come true. So many times he had imagined Hangeng saying those words, and today he did. Heechul clutched his chest with one hand and tried to stifle his sobs with the other. He had lost Hangeng forever all because he couldn’t take Hangeng ignoring him. He let out a chuckle, how ironic. He confronted a Hangeng who was ignoring him and now he was stuck with a Hangeng who didn’t want him around.
Never again would he be able to throw his arms around Hangeng. Never again would those eyes sparkle when looking at him. How could this happen? When you love someone who doesn’t love you there are only two choices. The first is to never tell them and live with you unrequited love, the second choice you tell them and risk losing them. Heechul had chosen and he had lost Hangeng.
Leeteuk heard a bang from his position in the kitchen. He walked out to find Hangeng grabbing his coat in such agitated movements. That wasn’t a good sign Leeteuk thought. Hangeng seemed like he was in a rush to get away from something. What exactly was that something? Or maybe a better question would be WHO was he trying to get away from. Something told him he needed to see Heechul but he ignored that feeling. Right now they both needed their space. Though Leeteuk wondered exactly what it was that caused the normally calm Hangeng to act like this.
Leeteuk worried. Hangeng had seemed to disappear and no one had seen him. Heechul didn’t emerge out of him room that night or the night after. When he did come out he was over energetic, as he if had eaten a rainbow full of sugar that was making him hyper. They had schedules a lot during that week in regards to getting their third album prepared, learning lyrics excreta. Hangeng would appear for as long as he was needed then would disappear again. Heechul seemed to shy away for Hangeng and Hangeng did the same. Leeteuk bit his lip as he watched over the two boys.
Leeteuk finally had enough. Heechul and Hangeng were effecting just themselves but the whole of super junior. He found Heechul lounging on the couch, his head on Siwons lap. He didn’t know what to do. He was the leader of super junior. Sometimes it was easy and sometimes it was hard. He needed to think about the well-being of each member while also watching over the whole of super Junior.
“Heechul?”
Heechuls head shot up looking at him. Should he really do this? Leeteuk shook his head internally and waved Heechul over. Heechul stood in front of him bouncing on the balls of his feet. Heechul didn’t argue when he asked him if he could collect something for him, in fact it looked more like Heechul was relieved to get out of the dorm. He watched as Heechul bounced out of the dorm. Was this the right thing?
Apparently Leeteuk needed to collect something that he had accidentally left in the studio. Heechul made his way just happy to get out of the dorms. That place was suffocating him but he didn’t show it. A smile appeared on his face, it didn’t belong there. He was numb painfully numb. He wanted to cry, to scream but he couldn’t. He couldn’t worry the others. He couldn’t let them see the pain he was feeling. Instead he pretended to be happy, hyper even. He chose to act like a child who had been given too much sugar so they wouldn’t know the inner turmoils of his heart. He was dying. Hmm how nice that sounded.
How nice would it be just to fade away, but he knew he would never be able to do it. He loved super junior and would never do anything to make his brothers feel pain. So he was suck here in life pretended he was happy when he heart just wanted to collapse and give up. He shook his head he couldn’t think things like this, already he felt his eyes watering. He wiped his eyes and marched forward.
It didn’t take him long to get to the studio. He walked into the room that Leeteuk said it would be. Tilting his head he looked around. Where exactly had Leeteuk said it was? The room was practically bare. Maybe in the small connecting room? Heechul walked towards the small door and opened it. How was he supposed to find what Leeteuk wanted with all these boxes in the way? Sighing Heechul set to work trying to find whatever the hell it was Leeteuk wanted. He was so busy he didn’t hear the door open as someone else walked in.
One box was being stubborn and would budge; using all his strength he pulled. IT finally moved but unfortunately with it’s momentum it had knocked him backwards. His back landed against a body and the persons arms wrapped around him. It was then he finally realised and acknowledged the person. He turned around with a smile to thank them. The smile immediately died on his lips looking into their eyes and they in turn moved their whole body away from him.
“S-sorry”
Hangeng just moved around from him not paying attention to him. What was Hangeng doing here? Heechul flinched as his heart twitched in pain. He wanted to run but Leeteuk said the item was really important. What should he do. Being this close to Hangeng would only make everything worse for him but he needed Hangeng. Without Hangeng he couldn’t survive. He decided not to say anything. Shaking his head he continued to search for Leeteuks item. Everything was going as well as it could have with the who people in the room ignoring each other. Well at least until they both grabbed the same box. Their fingers brushed gently against each other. Hangeng growled and pushed the box causing Heechul to fall back with the box in his hands.
Oh that was it.
“What the hell is wrong with you!”
Hangeng glared at him before turning away to continue what he was doing before. Heechul clenched his fist and march right up to him.
“What the hell was that for!”
Heechul grabbed Hangengs hand and forced him to turn around against his will. Hangeng glared, sending small shivers down Heechuls spine.
Hangeng hit his hand away from him.
“You planned this didn’t you!”
Heechul back away. Hangeng had never looked so dangerous. Almost as if Hangeng was going to wrap his hands around his throat to choke to life out of him. Heechuls back hit the wall.
“I-I don’t know what you talking about”
“Bullshit”
Hangengs tone had Heechuls knees shaking. Hangeng body just screamed the word DANGER!
“ You planned this!”
“No i…”
“Then why is there no one else here! You planned this so you could have me all to yourself!”
Hangeng had moved dangerously close. His warm breath swirled around Heechuls face. Heechuls eyes sparkled ever so brightly. Heechul tried to move back but with his back already against the wall there was nowhere to go. Hangeng was so so so close. Their legs were almost melded together. Their chests touched. Heechul looked up in fear. What was Hangeng going to do to him.
“Do you always think you can get what you want!!”
Heechul whimpered. The next thing he knew the lips he always wanted against his were. Hangeng kiss was bruising. It was forceful. It was violent. Heechul put his hands on Hangengs chest to push him away. This was never what he wanted. They separated for a second before Hangengs lips attached him again. Tears rolled down Heechuls cheeks. This isn’t what he wanted. Using all his strength he pushed Hangeng away. Both were breathing heavily.
“You happy. You got what you wanted…”
Hangeng wiped his lips against the sleeve of his shirt.
“You’re really disgusting…Fag”
With that Hangeng walked out of the room abandoning his search. Heechuls heart was beating like crazy. A so escaped his mouth, his hand immediately tried to stifle the sound. His shaking legs couldn’t hold him away more. He slid down the wall hand clamped over his mouth. Hangeng…He placed his finger on his lips. Hangeng had…that was not…He burst into tears. Hangeng had said this was what he wanted but that was far from the truth. All the emotions Heechul tried so hard to hold in just came bursting forward. It was so hard. His heart was in so much pain. He didn’t want to do this anymore.
Leeteuk was pacing inside the super junior dorm. He would look at the clock pace up then come back down, he would pause look and the clock again sigh and then repeat the process. The other members watched his as if he was crazy.
“Is something wrong Hyung?”
The brave soul Donghae asked. Leeteuk paused smiled at him and then just went right back to pacing. Donghae joined the others who were watching Leeteuk. Shindong had a bowl of popcorn on his lap. Zhou mi was positioned on the other side of Shindong. Kyuhyun had joined then just recently and was sitting next to Zhou Mi. Kyuhyun leaned over his mouth right next to Zhou Mis ear.
“That Mimi is the first sign of aging and insanity, it’s time for a younger, sexier member to take over as leader”
Zhou Mi smirked.
“Why Kyuhyun I didn’t know you thought of me like that”
Kyuhyun growled and slapped Zhou mi.
“I meant me!”
Zhou Mi giggled before a worried expressions fell over his face.
“What’s wrong with him though?”
They all watched their leader with worried expressions.
Leeteuk bit his lip. Heechul had been gone for hours. Surely he would have met Hangeng already. What was taking so long? Had he done the right thing by sticking them together? Leeteuk sighed and looked up at the clock. Heechul would be okay right? He knew how to take care of himself. What should he do? Should he go to find Heechul? Should he call Heechul? No he tried that Heechul had stupidly left his phone at home. Arrg. He was getting frustrated. What was he supposed to do? What if he had made everything worse by sticking them together?
