Although my first official day at my new job was Oct 16th the company has been promoting me and moving me into new positions quicker than I can learn. It's been great because I'm getting paid more but at the same time it's been overwhelming. This week marks my first full week at my new job. It's been an adjustment working on a 9-5pm schedule and also commuting downtown which takes about 45 minutes but for the most part things have been going well. Last weekend I celebrated the 4th of July for the first time lol. At work I ordered my clients some food - rib tips, wings, fries, a house salad and I made the mistake of also buying them Mountain Dew and was told that Mountain Dew is only for white people.
