Home sweet home...
I spent the first night in my new home last night. I know that isn't anything too huge to announce, but I felt like I needed to put that down somewhere. It was a strange feeling sleeping in a home that I owned. Its mine, I'm not just living there... Crazy... -
Who's your daddy?
Well, I'm somebody's daddy! My son, Brayden Daniel was born thursday night (the 17th) at 9:47 pm. He was 6 lb, 0 oz and 19 inches long. And of course, he's beautiful. Making a comeback?
According to LJ, it's been 87 weeks since my last post. I was actually fairly surprised to find that my journal still existed. When I logged on tonight, (or this morning as some might contend) I fully expected to see a message that said no such username existed. Me
Well... it's me, the never around guy. Just have a minute to tell everyone something. I just finished up my second bachelors degree. Graduated just before christmas. I'm now twice as full of B.S. as before. But now I can teach the youth of America with two B.S.s! Ain't life grand! -
And then there was one...
Late last night/early this morning my grandmother died. She was my mom's mom. The death wasn't totally unexpected and she apparently died peacefully as she passed on sometime in the night. Idea of the year!
I found a random blog today while I was doing some homework and I thik I want to steal this guy's idea. He supposedly was going to post an event from history once a day, on that day. The end of the year...
For me, the end of the year is just about here. All good things (except baseball) are finishing up. Hockey for the Capitals ended without a playoff appearence, and things must change this offseason if the Caps are going to go anywhere next year. School is still in full swing, but there are only four more weeks until I finish with classes for the ( Read more... ) -
Trade day...
Today was the trade deadline for the NHL. Today saw the Caps trade off Dainus Zubrus and Jaime Heward. Yesterday the Caps dealt Richard Zednik for a second time and Lawrence Nycholat. All four deals made me sad, but especially the Zed and Zubrus trades. Zuby's been around for a while now and it's sad to see him go. He was an integral memeber ( Read more... ) -

So school's starting next week... actually in two days. I'm trying to think positive in that the week doesn't start until monday, and I have class on tuesday... and I'm trying to put it as far away as possible. I'm not ready to go back.
