Today was the trade deadline for the NHL. Today saw the Caps trade off Dainus Zubrus and Jaime Heward. Yesterday the Caps dealt Richard Zednik for a second time and Lawrence Nycholat. So, things are going well, at least nominally well for me this weekend. The Caps won for the 4th time in a row yesterday so that was great. I worked all day, but made over $300 yesterday, so that was great. In general, work wasn't difficult and I was tired, but not too exhausted after work. Martha Burke, head of the Council on Womens Affairs, or something to that nature, has started a protest of the new NHL add that is going to start running any minute now and can be seen on NHL.com. She says it portrays women in a bad/sexual way because the woman featured in the spot is "scantily clad" and therefore must be a sex symbol ( Read more... )
