Onew was half awake. There was music and some banging going on in the next room, and he couldn't begin to guess how Taemin managed to stay asleep through it. He felt icky and tired, because the sun was still up and because he still didn't know where Minho was.

Then, he heard a melodic chirping in his pocket. He pulled his phone from it, and looked at Taemin, pondering briefly if he'd wake him by taking the call in the room, and then deciding it wasn't likely and he didn't care.

"Hello?"

"Minho is missing, isn't he?" Key sounded amused over the phone.

"Where did you take him?"

"We didn't take him anywhere." Key laughed, "He walked into The Council. We were just getting our things together so we could visit. Should we pass on a message?"

"Why are you telling me this?"

"I'll see you soon, Onew."

Key hung up, and so Onew did too - then he looked to see Taemin's wide eyes looking at him. "Was that one of those evil vampires?"

"... It was Key." Onew answered, "'I'm going to stab your eye out', that one."

"He has your phone number?" Taemin asked. "I don't even have your phone number." Then Taemin pouted, "I don't even have a phone."

Onew sat up, "You need to shower and get dressed. Pack if you want to. We're going to Seoul."

"Minho is there?"

"Yes."

"... Key is there?"

"He will be."

"Noodle." Taemin said, "I don't want to go."

"You aren't safe here."

"I'm not going to be safe there either, am I?"

Onew scowled, "I can't protect you if you aren't with me."

"But you were with me before, Noodle."

"Silver." Onew said, sighing. "If a vampire is wounded with a silver weapon, they will heal at the same rate a human would."

"... Isn't that werewolves?"

Onew just glared at Taemin.

Then, Taemin blinked at Onew. "I have a silver switch blade. My Granddad left it to me. That would work?"

Onew blinked back at Taemin, alarmed he'd have something so convenient. "Yes. It would. So bring it."

Taemin shook his head, "Even with that.. I.."

"Don't have much of a choice." Onew finished for him, sounding a bit impatient now. "You can go straight to a hotel room while I handle the situation. You'll be fine."

"Will my mom be okay here?"

"Probably."

Taemin nodded, cringing as he sat up. "It really hurts to move."

For the first time in a long time, Onew softened up. He spoke gently now, saying "Just get your stuff ready. Then I'll carry you wherever we need to go."

Taemin nodded once again, and then asked, "What are you going to eat?"

"Your mom."

"You can't!"

Onew grinned, "I was kidding. Don't worry about my food."

"You're so weird, Noodle." Taemin said with a sigh, carefully and slowly climbing out of his bed.

Minho was terrified and worried and wondering exactly how long he'd been in this cell, because time seemed to be moving in dial-up speed. He was so busy thinking of his family, of Onew, and of Taemin, that he didn't even realize he was starving - until a short boy with huge thick glasses appeared in front of his cell, carrying a plastic container of instant noodles and a glass of water.

"I have food and stuff." The boy, who once again looked about Minho's age, announced. "And I've been instructed to warn you that if you try anything, I keel you." The boy balanced the noodles and the glass on one arm as he dug keys from his pocket.

The fact that the warning was necessary made Minho assume he was dealing with a human, but he wasn't foolish enough to try anything anyway. If he got passed the human, he still wouldn't know where the hell he was - and who knows how many vampires were hanging around out there?

Besides, he wasn't going to blow his chance at having food.

The boy pushed the cell's door open, and stepped in, reorganizing the noodles and water so they were easier to carry before he stepped over. "Oh good. You didn't."

"Didn't what?" Minho asked.

"Try anything." the boy said, as Minho grabbed the water and the container. "Most of them do." he frowned, "It's usually painful. I can't really.. keel anyone. Oh, yeah, you need chopsticks." The boy reached into his pocket, pulling out a set of individually wrapped sticks and handing them over.

"Good luck at auction." he said. "Nichkhun bought me from one, you know. Kinda recently."

"You're bonded to him?" Minho asked.

"No." the boy said, sadly. "Just a servant."

Minho's head tilted, "How did you end up here? Involved with vampires?"

"I was too cute to kill." he said, and shrugged his shoulders. "Lucky me." he said, and looked a bit bitter about it, as he turned around to exit. After he closed the door, he apparently decided to leave on a cheerful note, exclaiming "Bye-yums!!" before he disappeared.

Minho eyed his chopsticks, wondering if he tried to push one through a vampire's chest if it'd just snap uselessly. Then he decided his stomach was currently more important then plotting a likely futile attack.
