Yesterday's safety audit was the first one that's went well in over a month (they got provisional Gold status, so everyone in the Division Office will be doing the happy dance).  I'm just the messenger in this, so I'm glad to see they're doing the work to achieve the ranking.

Woohoo!  I'm in VT, getting ready for the first day of the Joel & Evita dance workshop.  I'm so excited!  Last night's dance was fabulous--in addition to dancing with all of my great friends, I also got to dance with lepi--twice!  :-D

David Boss has just officially told me the following.  When I'm on a business trip, if I only have 1/2 day of actual work to do (such as when I have an OH claims review), I should feel free to spend the afternoon in the city at a museum or doing something else that's fun.  That way, I can get in and back out again before rush hour begins.

In work news:

This afternoon, I hopped onto www.dollar.com to arrange my PA trip rental car for later this month.  In the process, I learned an interesting fact.  If I were a resident of the Bronx or Brooklyn, there would be an extra $55/day surcharge for renting a car (which without the surcharge already costs $54/day).
