I forgot I never finished this meme, so I thought it might be time to get it done.

Day 17 - Favorite mini series: Centennial.
Centennial was made in back 1978 when miniseries were more than just a four hour movie spread over two nights. There were twelve episodes, for a total of 26 hours of television and it was epic! I haven't seen it since it first aired so I have no idea how well it's held up, but I loved it then
It was based on the book Centennial by James Michener which was a great read and, at the time, one of my favorite books. The miniseries/book follows the history of the area of the fictional town of Centennial, Colorado from the late 18th century to the 1970s and stared just about every decent TV actor of the day, including Richard Chamberlain at the height of his miniseries domination.
And because I can't pick just one, for something more recent I'd say: Alice on SyFy. I loved that miniseries and it was when I fell in love with Andrew-Lee Potts who played Hatter. (When does the new season of Primeval start again?!?). SyFy actually go this one right. I'm looking forward to their next update - Red which is a retelling of the Red Riding Hood story staring Kavan Smith (Lorne!!!!!)
