30 Days of TV Meme - Day 5
Day 01 - A show that should have never been canceled: Firefly
Day 02 - A show that you wish more people were watching: Legend Of The Seeker.
Day 03 - Your favorite new show (that aired this t.v season): Glee
Day 04 - Your favorite show ever: Stargate:SG-1
Day 05 - A show you hate: Gray's Anatomy. I admit I never watched the show (not even when Jeffrey Dean Morgan was on it)
So why the dislike of a show I never even watched:
1) When GA first premiered on Sunday nights it bumped Boston Legal off the schedule for almost a year. Boston Legal might be hubby's choice for favorite show ever so needless to say he was not happy. In a show of solidarity, I hated GA too.
2) Then it moved to Thursday's against Supernatural. Putting my favorite obsession in jeopardy (at that time)made me very angry. And of course I hated that everyone was watching GA and not SPN
3) And in every interview JDM did as he climbed the fame ladder, they only wanted to talk about GA and I wanted to hear about Daddy Winchester. Silly but it still pissed me off that SPN never got a shout out and (at that time) it could have really used the press.
4) The back stage antics of the cast: fights, homophobia, whiny cast members, salary disputes etc...etc. It seemed the bad behavior of the cast was always in the news and even if I thought about watching it in the past (Because so many people really liked it) the actors themselves just didn't seem like the people I wanted to spend time with. It really put me off the show so much that to this day I won't see Katherine Heigel movies.
So I apologize to the flisters who love the show, I mean no disrespect but it's just not a show I will ever watch.
