Several years ago my mother came to visit and wanted to watch NCIS. I had no interest in the show and if I recall the kids and I wanted to watch something else. We even came up with a silly alternative for what NCIS stood for (Which I can't even remember) to tease her with. My mother insisted I would enjoy it and really wanted to see it. So I made her a deal - If she watched Supernatural with me, I'd watch NCIS with her (I was all about getting people to watch SPN back then). She enjoyed SPN but I loved NCIS so much I went out and bought the first two seasons to catch up. I think it was lucky I'd 'met' Ziva first because I never was a Kate fan. Needless to say my older son and I are still watching NCIS and it's one of our favorite shows. So thanks, Mom!
