Hubby and I saw the A-team on Sunday and we really enjoyed it. I had never seen the TV show so I had a few things I had to bug hubby to explain but there weren't many of those moments.
I can't say how the new cast compares to the old crew but I loved them. But then i could stare at Bradley Cooper for 2 hours regardless of the movie (I actually rented 'All about Steve' and all I can say is don't).
The action is completely outrageous and unrealistic. Helicopters can not fly up side down (no matter how great a pilot Murdock is supposed to be) or cold start in free fall - the blades don't stop turning just cause you turn them off, they have to wind down even if you are in free fall...so many silly things that the story makes the planes and tanks and stuff do but the actors are having such a good time, I didn't let the inaccuracies bug me.
Still if I want to see a movie about a team of military covert operatives who are set up by their govt - I preferred The Losers.
And I saw a preview for Stallone's new movie, the Expendables, and it seems to be about the same thing - must be this summer's theme.
