Things are really coming together for this year's NaNo project. I have a beginning, middle, and ending that promise to hold up to an outline and at least semi-intense scrutiny (though it could still use some fleshing--but that's okay, at this stage!). 50K and Rising
I made it to 50k on Monday. Why haven't I posted 'til now?
...stuff. And that's as far as I'm going.
The story itself is at a halfway point, and I'll be picking it up again when I've finished recuperating (read: starting tomorrow because I finished "Invasion". More on that in a minute.), before going back and wrapping up Livewire.

Yes, I used a game name to make a reference to my word count. It's not epic fail, but it's not epic win, either. (Well, the name thing, anyway. The word count is COMPLETELY Epic Win with all-caps by Week Two.) -
My thoughts on "Invasion", Pt. 1
So today, while writing, I did a bad-bad thing; I put in the first disc of "Invasion" to have as latent background noise. Though I DID manage to get some writing done, I found myself at least paying peripherally more attention to the TV than I did my laptop.
