On May 13th, 2010 at 1:15am Walter J. Ehrets took his last breath.
His wife, son and daughter were with him when he passed away. It was a kindness to finally see him at peace. The last day very bad.
I think this will be the end of this blog. -

Today I went back to work for the first time in a week. It was better and worse than I expected. When people asked "How's Dad?" it got to me, having to tell people that my dad has cancer and that they're only giving him two months to live is hard ( Read more... ) -

Apartment Search
Jim and I are still participating in the Connecticut Apartment hunt of 09. I'm still in love with his Cousins 2 bedroom first floor place. Only problem we have with it is that, 1. there is no closet in the master BR and a TINY closet in the spare, and no pantry.. theres a weird closet off the dining room and the entry (both of which are those ( Read more... ) -

I passed my CNA class and now I'm a registered Certified Nurse Aide. Next step is to file for reciprocity so its valid in NY and CT. I put some applications in around New Haven. Got one call back from a nursing home that wants me to fill out the full application even though they aren't hiring right now so I have a little hope. I'm really ( Read more... ) -

Ok, I'm in a better mood now than I was.
Mostly because I have a fantastic manperson who sent me flowers for ma birthday. I also get to verbally abuse Fed Ex Harry because he was supposed to sing happy birthday! to me and he did not. But yay! I'm happy, this is the first time someones sent me flowers. It's kinda nice.
