Ok, I'm in a better mood now than I was.
Mostly because I have a fantastic manperson who sent me flowers for ma birthday. I also get to verbally abuse Fed Ex Harry because he was supposed to sing happy birthday! to me and he did not. But yay! I'm happy, this is the first time someones sent me flowers. It's kinda nice.
Russell also sent me the Stephanie Meyer book Host which is nice because I've started re-reading my Anne McCaffrey books. Jims mom lent me the newest Todd McCaffrey book, but, as usual with his books, I was wholeheartedly disappointed. His mystery was transparent, and what wasn't was just bizzarre and was never resolved anyway. And his writing is so one dimensional compared to his mothers. His mother created a culture. She wrote a history. He's like the boyscout troop leader telling a story around a campfire to 10 year olds.
I wish GRRM would finish his latest Song of Ice and Fire book. It's taken YEARS longer than I know he wants it to. And I can't wait for my next taste of Jon Snow. Ha.
