This is going to sound picky, but that quote is not originally by Mr. Smith. It's a line from the utterly brilliant cult classic of a film, Joe vs the Volcano. As a huge fan of the film, I like spreading the joy of it to others, so go rent it. It's good stuff, and then you will see why AP borrowed the quote and others from it!

Thanks! Yes, it is quite simple and doesn't scream "steampunk" all over it - and still I think that the viewer gets the idea immediately, right? That was the goal anyway! I think that it's pretty much abou the details.
