Saturday, I went for a bike ride with Mike.  We were about ten miles from the house when he rolled over a staple, and flattened his tire.
  Not a problem.  I carry a spare tube.
  So we fixed his tire and finished our ride.  I bought a new spare tube on Tuesday, and Thursday night, we rode again.

I'm normally the first proponent of technology, but it's been getting in my way today.

I checked my bank account online this morning to see if my tax refund had posted.  It hadn't.

So, off to a different website, the IRS, where, after parting with a little private information, I'm told that it was direct deposited a week ago.

What is the worst date you've ever been on?

Heh.  My first reaction was "great timing," because I was on a very bad one last weekend.  But I can honestly say that one wasn't the worst I've been on.

I was watching the "news" this morning, and a commercial came on, with a nice and creepy shot of a dollar bill, with termites crawling out of George Washington's eyeball. Sadly, the voiceover ruined things for me by telling me that "the average termite eats wood 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."
