It really is coming together. (The house and land.) The grass seed is even sprouting, though it seems a little chilly for that; we've had enough frost to terminally discourage tomatoes, basil & squash, but the weather relented after that without a really killing frost ( Read more... ) -

Too damn much has been going on. Have been camping out in the house since the first toilet, 4th of July, when my host's house was full of her relatives; living here full time since the first shower functional, Labor Day, ditto. I keep thinking I've got it together
...after the frenzy of packing and moving. But no. Sights like an excavator bucket ripping into your bedroom, and a total lack of foundation all this time under the kitchen, are enough to keep one freaked out.
