It really is coming together. (The house and land.) The grass seed is even sprouting, though it seems a little chilly for that; we've had enough frost to terminally discourage tomatoes, basil & squash, but the weather relented after that without a really killing frost.
I uploaded some short videos taken on the same day as the photo I lasted posted, to MySpace (where as always I am ssprince, as my car's license plate says) because I can't remember the password to the PhotoBucket account I just upgraded by buying coffee. Sheesh. The trials of modern life. I also shouldn't be bothering with any of this just now as I'm in deep if narrow trouble for promising some transcription (a friend's interviews for her master's thesis) which just isn't getting done. According to chinese medicine, it's no wonder I can't get started or follow through, when I'm exhausted. (Have been sleeping huge amounts since an acupuncture treatment Friday.) Plus when I get going on something, I feel so guilty for being a champion procrastinator with a history (in my mind and family legend at least; I think also in NESFA group-mind memory) of poor follow-through, that I carry on too long -- this is more of a problem with carrying rocks for landscaping, than for transcription, admittedly.
