Resnick had ridden back in with her on the rescue vehicle. Prowler wasn't going much of anywhere soon. He said nothing, let the doctors do their work (for once). Finally, when she'd been safely laid out on one of the infirmary beds he asked simply: "What happened?"

(Momo's eyes widen in fear as she sees the damage on Maria. She runs up and checks over Mad. An uneasy feeling washes over Momo as she sees the near catatonic Mad. She takes a knee next to Mad and gives her a gentle touch on the shoulder.)

Mad? What's wrong?

(Momo looks in shock. Mad's violent reaction caused old memories of Seiren's victims to flood her mind. Momo grabs the right side of her face as if in pain as her eyes change for a second. Momo calms herself down and whispers sadly to Mad.)
