The Truth/No More Heroes

1)[POST MISSION]
[Mad was near catatonic when she was brought back to the Chalice. Whatever wounds she had were relatively minor - the fact that she managed to get away from the level of damage the Longhorn Train attack caused unscathed was nothing short of a miracle... Maria on the other hand was so much scrap - there was barely anything left to save - aside from a few internal components that would amount to nothing more than keepsakes... the Ruin had devastated her.]
[When the news was broken to Mad she didn't yell, she didn't rage... she just cried quietly.]
2) [After Prompt 1 - Nanohana & Ciel]
[Mad was scrambling through the Halls of the Chalice, collapsing onto her knees... enough. She's had enough of this... enough of all the lies and bullshit... enough of the pain, all the false hope and agony. Just how much more would she have to go through?! HOW MUCH MORE?!]
Fuck.... I'm done... I'm out... I don't...
[Her gun...she has it... she stares at the polished metal, so lovingly taken care of, just like Maria had been. She pressed the barrel so hard to the side of her head that it might bruise later on, her eyes shut as memories once again dance through her mind.]
[Happier times, before the incident with Blanc. Where Himura was everything Mad wanted to be, where Hana was that meek older sister she liked to chase around with something strange on a stick. And then memories with Darren, where he told her stories to ease her to sleep... when she was sick how he actually let one moment of tenderness shine through when he let her nap against him when she caught that fever...]
[Everything hurt... she was trying her best not to cry and failing. Hoshi, Kei, Resnick, Pit, Gregory, Madoka... Yui... even the memories of the times she actually was actually civil with the Desus.... Sora, Momo... it hurt her inside... all those memories.. all with a person who amounted to nothing more with a lie...]
