Birthday festivities began around 12:15 a.m. when it came up in conversation that it was my birthday. I went to Lens Crafters on Saturday, my old glasses in hand and had my eyes checked. Aside from everything being blurry all the time they're just fine. The doctor put contacts in my eyes and gave me a second round of "One... Or two?" then sent me into another room to be taught how to take the damn things out and put them back in on my own.
