Who: Duke Fabre and Susanne What: Fabre returns with Luke to break the news. Where: Their house in the neighbourhood~ When: After this log. Rating: G to PG Open: No~
Susanne shook her head furiously; it was all she could do. She wanted to tell him that she understood that he had been out of options, and that she was grateful that he had saved Luke -even proud- but her voice simply would not work. She wished to tell him that no matter what, she loved him and their sons, and that their safety was everything to her. She wanted to tell him that she would be all right.
He really had had no idea that she was so attached to Guy. Was he truly that well loved by his family? He knew they had grown attached to him, but to this extent... he really was more than a servant to them.
Fabre frowned, and gave in, drawing Susanne close to him, in a gentle embrace. "Shh... my dear, it will be alright again... somehow..."
He didn't know how, exactly, but... surely somehow. Eventually.
Even the heavy stench of blood couldn't deter her, and Susanne clung tightly to his robes, shuddering against him as she wept. With no life bottles or Seventh fonons, Guy was sure to be lost to them forever.
After all he had done for her children...cared for Luke, given Asch something to love again, given her hope when her sons were lost and happiness when he found them again for her.
After all he had done, and things had ended like this. Susanne couldn't help but sob even harder.

But she couldn't. She could only fight her sobs.
