Fabre didn't exactly hurry after leaving the bar and heading home. Luke was breathing steadily and his condition seemed stable, and he really wasn't in any rush to return to Susanne with a badly-wounded son and the news that he'd been forced to take Guy's life for fear of losing Luke. She had a rather curious affection for Guy, and he new she would not take the news well.
Still, he couldn't wander around forever - Luke was light, but the weight began to wear on him over time, especially after carrying Guy's body back to the bar - so he was both relieved and reluctant when he reached the house he and Susanne had claimed as their own.
Unable to reach the knob while carrying Luke, he gave the door a few firm kicks, calling out after to reassure Susanne that he wasn't some ruffian out searching for victims. "Susanne? It is Crimson. I need a hand."
