So the M/M romance genre seems to be acquiring a growing number of stories with trans main characters! That's pretty cool. Except for some of the responses I'm seeing in reviews, which admittedly I should know better than to read, but read anyway. Wow, okay, so it's been... since May. Or, at the very least, with what the author perceives as sexist tropes in fandom. But the author is also a cynic and a pessimist with regard to this issue and is extremely likely to perceive problems that may or may not, in fact, exist.

It's been three months. What the hell, how has it been three months?
The problem with coming back to a gently-used LJ or DW after such a long time is that it is nigh-impossible to figure out what the hell to say. Good news (for me, at least): I'm not (yet) dead!
