Sooo... in a truly shameful bit of self-indulgence, I decided to take some time and retype the letter of Rec that my University Supervisor wrote for my Department of Defense application. (He sent me a copy of it.)

I won a karaoke contests on Tuesday. It was pretty awesome. I was going to bring a posse with me (you win by cheers) but it was in Toledo and everyone had Hell Week at school so I decided to just go with my friend Lisa. I swear, if the rest of my life continues to be half as awesome as these past few weeks, I will die an old lady with amazing stories and a heart full of joy.

I have this vague recollection of this teacher at the high school who died when I was younger, middle school or around there.
