I feel sort of awkward writing remixes of other people's fics, like I'm being presumptuous or something. But there's this remixathon at numb3rs100 and I desperately wanted to participate, so I found this lovely fic by melissima and wrote a little something off of it. And now I'm posting it immediately before I lose my nerve, ha.

You really put us in Megan's skin for that moment of vulnerability, in a way that makes me envious (for values of envious that are more chuffed and flattered than anything else.)

Also, you nailed the sensory description of Billy suddenly being so close. That by itself is a nice little pressie to me, I'm just going to reread it a few dozen times today and pretend I'm Megan.
